Kantha embroidery is a basic running stitch traditionally used in India to patch old saris together to make a thick quilt. The clear PVC lining means that the stiches are also visible on the inside of the shade. Can be used as a lampshade or a ceiling shade.

About Aimée Alice Payton:
Aimée is one of the members of the Modern Makers Collective and creates lampshades which are full of colour, life and stories. The fabric has been lovingly selected for its history, culture, technique and colour. Her hard shades are hand cut and rolled so that the placement of pattern is perfect and her traditional shades are completely hand-sewn, with each stitch taut or rippled fabrics are drawn into beautiful new shapes.
